Telephone one of our Main service centres mentioned above or come to Cornerstone’s informal Drop In service which is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30 (except Bank Holidays).
When you call we can offer an assessment appointment for you to talk about your needs and for us to advise you about the best services and intervention options that may be available.
Our Open Access service is available at Cornerstone on Mondays and on Fridays between 1.30pm and 4.30pm. If you come during these times you may be able to see a member of staff immediately without an appointment.
We can provide a full range of services including:
Information and advice about drugs, alcohol, substance misuse and treatment options
Harm reduction. For those who are still using drugs, we can provide advice and information to help reduce or minimise the risks to their health and to explore the range of treatments and interventions available to them. Ongoing 1:1 may be available for harm reduction support or for preparing for more intensive treatment.
At Cornerstone we offer a Needle-exchange service available between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays). We also run a pharmacy based needle-exchange service. Contact one of our service centres for details.
Treatment programme/workshops at the Wealden Centre is a facility supporting those developing strategies to maintain changing behaviours and lifestyles.
Counselling is provided by professional counsellors experienced at working in the drugs and alcohol field and provided at the two main centres. This service is also available by appointment at
Prescribing and detoxification treatment programmes to help manage safe withdrawal from drugs are provided at the two main centres and is also available by appointment at
1:1 support and links to training, education and employment is available for those involved in the criminal justice system.
In-Patient detoxification can be arranged through the Prescribing service and the through Treatment programme/workshop described above.
Residential rehabilitation is available to detoxification clients for whom home care is not suitable.
After-care offers ongoing support for people who have completed or left treatment programmes and includes advice on training and education.
Alcohol specific advice and brief interventions are available at our satellite clinics in
Working together we provide an integrated service offering seamless treatment interventions for anyone experiencing problems relating to substance misuse.
